Natalia Pushkareva

Regional Programme Specialist, UNDP

Natalia joined UNDP s a Regional Programme Specialist for Europe and CIS in February 2022, being responsible for tax-related work in Eastern Europe. Prior to joining she was involved in academic research, and also worked for Gaidar Institute for Economic Policy for a number of years and Deloitte Moscow. Natalia has her first degree in Law from Lomonosov Moscow State University (2011, summa cum laude, gold medal) and a Master degree in Law and Finance from University of Oxford (2015, full scholarship). Her academic results and research skills were marked with multiple awards, scholarships and fellowships, such as Policy Leaders Fellowship at EUI, Scientific Guest Scholarship at Max Planck Institute for Tax Law, and a Frederic Bastiat Fellow at GMU. In 2020 the World Tax Summit included Natalia in their “35 Future Leaders of Taxation under 35” list, and last year she was selected for a highly selective Global Scholar Academy of Harvard Institute for Global Law and Policy, as well as Strategic Management of Policy Reform Workshop organized by University of Stanford Leadership Academy for Development.
