He worked in Guatemala as the Fiscal Pact Commission's Secretary, as a researcher at think tanks (ASIES, CIEN, and ICEFI), as an advisor to government agencies (Ministry of Planning, Tax Administration), and as a University lecturer. He also has worked as a consultant for international agencies.
