Lyydia leads the EITI's engagement with civil society and policy work on civic space, as well as on taxation and domestic resource mobilisation. She provides strategic support to country teams on strengthening transparency and stakeholder engagement. Lyydia led the development of EITI’s current Validation model and contributes to country assessments. Her previous work experience includes working with Kepa, a Finnish platform for development NGOs, as a policy advisor on tax justice and corporate accountability. Lyydia holds a MSSc in Development Studies from the University of Helsinki. She has also conducted research on the EITI in Mozambique. Her professional interests include promoting responsible tax practices and human rights in business. In her free time, she is passionate about good short stories, contemporary dance and exploring ways to travel without flying.
