Alistair Lobo: Alistair is the Tax and Economic Growth Lead within the Public and Finance Department (PFTD) of the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). He leads for the FCDO on tax expenditures, the Platform for Collaboration on Tax (PCT), and their work on Public Finance and Tax issues with the World Bank Group. He is also the Chief Operating Officer at the Future Leaders Network, a not-for-profit organisation aimed at discovering and developing the next generation of social, political and economic leaders. Alistair has previously worked at the UK Treasury on Public Finance and G20/7 issues, at an international development consultancy and in India and Ghana. He was also part of rapid response teams following the UK’s decision to leave the EU, and during the COVID-19 crisis.
